Japan – Immersion Program & Pitch Night Summer 2017

In the 4th edition of the Japan Silicon Valley Immersion Program, we got to support and help six entrepreneurs from Japan build and scale their disruptive technologies within AI, BioTech and IoT. Before the program, Silicon Valley Forum brought pitch coaches from Silicon Valley to Japan, who pitch-trained the entrepreneurs before their exciting week in Silicon Valley. What an amazing journey we’ve seen the entrepreneurs take from their first day in the program to the very last day!

We also incorporated three new workshops on product development, business models and incorporation, and intellectual property, which were well-received by the entrepreneurs. As connections are always an important component of both startup life in Silicon Valley, the entrepreneurs received both a one-on-one business matchmaking session – speed dating with investors and industry professionals, and mentorship sessions – as well as longer feedback meetings with business leaders and experts. We concluded the program with a pitch night at Google Developers Launchpad in San Francisco, with an attendance of more than 200 people!
