Japanese Program and Pitch Night

NEDO Technology Commercialization Program (TCP) Silicon Valley brought over 7 innovative early stage startups from Japan to Silicon Valley. NEDO chose to partner with Silicon Valley Forum to put together an immersive day for the entrepreneurs. The purpose of the program and pitch night was for the Japanese entrepreneurs to learn about how to conduct business in the US and Silicon Valley, to understand how the ecosystem works and what opportunities are out there, and to establish contacts for future collaboration and partnerships.

Silicon Valley Forum confirmed three site visits; StartX, IBM and Venrock for the program, and took care of the event logistics and marketing and communication of the pitch night. The event was held at GSVLabs with an attendance of 150+ entrepreneurs, business executives, service providers and tech enthusiasts.
