An active advocate of women entrepreneurship and gender diversity, she speaks widely at conferences on female entrepreneurship, including #FoundHer at the Plug and Play Tech Center, a corporate innovation incubator. A few other speaking engagements include the F50 Global Capital Summit, the APEC Summit for women in STEM (invited by the government of Taiwan), and 500 Startups Premoney, to name a few. Anna also consults at the United Nations and World Bank, where her topical areas include gender, global health, education, financial inclusion, and human rights, amongst others.
Anna also writes about entrepreneurship, start-ups, venture capital and disruptive technology for the Huffington Post, Fortune Magazine, Inter Press News, and other publications around the world. She received an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Management and a master’s degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She has lived in London, Rome, Hong Kong, Dubai, and has worked extensively in different parts of the world.
