About Emily

Emily Lafferty leads Strategic Sourcing at Simple Mills, fostering distinguished sourcing and differential innovation design to impact the way our food is grown. She has stood up several farm-level regenerative agriculture initiatives with producers including a Direct Trade program in the Midwest, an coconut agroforestry program, and an restorative orchard pilot in the Central Valley with almond growers.  Emily had previously established the Simple Mills’ procurement function, and prior to Simple Mills, worked as a Strategic Buyer for flavor and fragrance company Frutarom USA, now a part of International Flavors and Fragrances (IFF). She has a Bachelor’s of Science in Economics from George Mason University.
