Sherika Ekpo (she/her), a native of the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan area, joined Anaplan as the inaugural Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer in June 2021. In this new role, Sherika works closely with Anaplan’s executive leadership, employee resource groups, human resource, and legal teams to advance the company’s already progressive efforts to create and maintain a corporate culture that values the contributions of all members of its workforce. Sherika has nearly 20 years of strategic human capital, talent management and development experience. Over the course of her career, Sherika has worked at Google, JPMorgan Chase, General Electric, and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. Her contributions in diversity, equity and inclusion have been honored with several professional and community awards. She has recently been appointed to the Consumer Technology Association Board of Industry Leaders and is on the board of directors at Skylight Digital and Aqua Leisure. Sherika is a proud graduate of Howard University and University of Maryland’s Smith Business School. She is also a wife and mother of three.
