Taiwan Tech Arena 2018 Bootcamp

For the second year in a row, Silicon Valley Forum had the honor of partnering with MOST (Ministry of Science and Technology), TIEC (Taiwan Innovation and Entrepreneurship Center) and TITAN (Taiwan Innovation & Technology Arena) of Taiwan for another startup program. Together with our CEO & President, Denyse Cardozo and Director of International Relations, Nick Sramek, we brought four mentors from Silicon Valley to Taipei in Taiwan for a 3-day intensive startup bootcamp.

Our goal for the Taiwan Tech Arena 2018 Bootcamp was to provide promising startups in Taiwan with mentoring, coaching and pitch training from Silicon Valley investors and experts. The startup founders got to learn the spirit of Silicon Valley entrepreneurship, including pitch coaching, fundraising skills, and much more. Besides hands-on workshop sessions, the TTA entrepreneurs were able to sit down 1-on-1 with all the mentors to discuss their go-to-market strategies, value propositions, business models and investment strategies. By the end of the bootcamp, each entrepreneur gained clarity and insight into the life and future of their businesses; they were also able to identify areas to improve, and tailor their pitches to make their company appealing to stakeholders–investors, team members, customers, and partners.
